An idea for this kind of business came while watching my then 3-year-old daughter during her weekly gymnastics class. It was great getting to see her play, but I always wished I could be using that time to get in some exercise myself.

The schedule kept growing — dance, swim, and gymnastics on top of preschool makes for a busy week. Eventually we enrolled her in a Saturday morning ice skating class that also had an adult session at the same time, on the same ice. That was something special. I got to learn and exercise alongside my kid while still being able to keep an eye on her, catching her waves as she looked over to show me her latest skills.

That moment really validated the idea for me. Both of us getting exercise and having fun, separate but connected the whole time. That's exactly what I want to build.

This is a concept I really want to bring to St. Louis, but first we need to make sure other families want it as much as we do. That's where you come in.

If this sounds like something your family could use, please take the survey. It'll help us confirm the demand is real, shape the programming, and determine if we move forward.

Thank you. Be excellent. — Nick
